promotion, cooperatives, agriculture programs, and leadership formation. Come,
hear their stories, share their experiences. Learn from them. Let
them inspire you and touch your hearts.
This year’s Holy Week Vocation Retreat
takes place in El Paso, Texas at the Immaculate Heart of Mary parish in the
poor barrio of Westway. The retreat is centered in a cross-cultural
environment among poor Mexican immigrants. Retreatants will participate with
the local people in the Sacred Triduum, the celebration of the Paschal
Mystery of Jesus: his Passion, Death and Resurrection. They will spend
Holy Week listening to retreat conferences, participating at
Mass, celebrating the Stations of the Cross outdoors, praying together the
Liturgy of the Hours, reflecting before the Eucharist in adoration, and
praying the Mission Rosary.
The retreat team requests that you arrive in El Paso, Texas before 5:00 p.m.
on April 2, 2012 in order to attend the Chrism Mass. The Holy Week
retreat ends on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012 (make plans to return home on
Easter Monday). Maryknoll
